Our cold rolling mill is made up of a mill stand, gear boxes, entry& exit tables, drive systems, coil loading device with uncoilers, coilers, measuring and control devices, coolant supply systems, centralized lubrication systems, coil removal systems, hydraulic system and complete electrical equipment.
In order to ensure that the finished product is of the desired qualities, the mill is equipped with AGC systems, Zonal coolant control systems, flat measurement & control systems, hydraulic roll gap adjustment system, and others.

Skin Pass/ Temper Pass Mills:
These mills can process materials into sheets/ strips of medium hardness or give finish pass. The Rolls are made of hard alloy steel (generally 65 HRC +).
Additionally, HI Cold Reduction Mills for Sheets & Strips are also available.
The high external roll forces cause the metal strip to permanently deform. The deformed strip is thinner and longer than the original one.
Hot or cold rolling methods can be used depending on the metallurgical property of the materials. For example, steel plates (typically > 1.5mm) are hot rolled while steel sheets (typically < 0.1mm) and aluminum foil are cold rolled.
Nowadays, rolled steel metal plays an important role in modern manufacturing processes and we can see rolled products everywhere in our daily life.
Foil, the thickness of which is less than 0.2mm, can be used for building insulation, electrical applications and in printing industries for packaging (e.g. to foil containers and wrapping purposes).
If the rolled products have a thickness of 0.2-6mm, they are applicable in the construction industry (e.g. sidings and roofing) and in the transport industry for automotive body panels, airframes and boat hulls.
If rolled aluminum plate is of a thickness higher than 6mm, it can be used for airframes, military vehicles, and as construction components for buildings and bridges.
There is a large demand for aluminum rolled products in Western Europe and 3.44 million tones were consumed there in the year 2000 alone. Since rolling mills were put into use in fifteenth century, there has been continuous integration of new and sophisticated technologies into the manufacturing techniques.
Up to now, the forces can reach 2,000 tones and the speed can be up to 120km/ hour. If the material to be processed is aluminum, the thickness of the rolled aluminum can be to 0.05mm with a tolerance of 5 micrometers (the 0.1% tolerance is in accordance with any "high tech" standard).
For this to be achieved, the mechanical systems, materials, sensors, actuators and control systems have all been upgraded over time.
